Thank you for attending my session at Digital Summit Portland.
As discussed during the session, the ability to tame all the data available to us is critical, but doing so requires an efficient process and an organized workflow. Here are some helpful assets your organization can use to advance your analytics program and consistently deliver juicy insights.
52 Analytics Questions – A handy “cheat sheet” filled with questions you can pose when developing actionable insights.
Client Brief (see first tab in sheet) – An essential document for ensuring your entire team understands the goals and particular details about your analytics client.
UTM Tracking Protocol (see second tab in sheet) – A resource that can be utilized by multiple people within the agency and on the client side to build out and maintain tracking code-appended URLs.
Activity Ledger (see third tab in sheet) – A simple tool for maintaining accountability and demonstrating progress throughout your analytics project/engagement. The ledger should be a reflection of the recommendations made within your reports and provides a status update on your progress to implement.
Finally, please see below for a copy of the deck presented at Digital Summit Portland on June 12, 2019.
Client demand for actionable reporting insights seems to be increasing by the day, and agencies must answer the call. However, providing a clear vision, remaining accountable and building trust with your client from your measurement practice takes time and agency resources. Therefore, we must develop efficient reporting processes, rely on key documents to keep us organized and really deliver when it comes to providing fantastically constructed suggestions based on our marketing metrics.
Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to help.
